A family-run business, born and bred in Eastbourne, with over 30 years in carpentry and joinery. We take care and pride in our work, and we finish what we start.
What we do
Kitchens and bathrooms are our speciality, but thirty years on the tools means we can handle the whole job, and bring in Gas Safe registered engineers and qualified electricians as they are needed.
Full installations from any supplier. We fit Wren, Benchmarx, Howdens and Magnet, as well as bespoke units. Rip-out and disposal, units, worktops, tiling, flooring and the final trims that make it look built-in rather than bolted on.
From a straight swap to a full re-design. We strip back, re-plumb, tile and finish. That includes level-access wet rooms and adaptations for staying independent at home.
The trade we started in, and still the heart of what we do. City & Guilds qualified and time-served. Doors that close cleanly, mitres that line up.
Solid wood, engineered, laminate and vinyl, laid level and finished neatly into every doorway and awkward corner.
Whole-room and whole-house projects, co-ordinated so trades arrive in the right order and you always know what's happening next.
Plenty of trades won't return the call for a half-day job. We will. Several of our biggest projects started as exactly that.
About DSR
DSR Home Improvements is a small independent business based in Eastbourne. Donald is a time-served, City & Guilds qualified carpenter and joiner with over thirty years in the trade, working with a settled team he's used for years.
You get the same faces on site every morning, the person who quoted the job is the person doing it, and there's no call centre between you and an answer. We turn up when we say we will, we tidy up before we leave, and if something needs putting right we come back and put it right.
Kitchens and bathrooms are what we're known for. But we'll happily hang a single door, and we say no to work we're not the right people for.

Agreed start date, same team throughout, site left tidy each evening, and a final walk-round together before we invoice.

We're Eastbourne based and work throughout the surrounding towns and villages. If you're just outside this list, ask anyway. If we can't help, we'll usually know somebody good who can.
